Podcast Potion For The Week of Nov 11
Reclaim Your Power, Ta-Nehisi Coates' Message, Better Than Happy, Co-Dependency, Building Bridges, Benefits of Crying, Medically Assisted Death.
Hello there!
I’m sitting in a cozy cafe, the morning rain has finally stopped falling for at least a few minutes. I’m delighted once again to have the privilege to connect with you through this mysterious medium of words!
These Sunday podcast potions have become so much fun to write. It’s insightful to run back through the people and stories that had the biggest impact on me each week and according to author Sarah Moss listening to podcasts is an intimate act,
“It’s intimate partly because nobody else can hear them. It’s very private. Nobody knows what I’m listening to. I cue up what I want on my phone. I think in some ways my podcast feed will tell you more about my darkest secrets and anxieties than anything else anybody could come across. And unless I happen to mention it, nobody knows what voices are inside my ears…”
As you might have heard, I subscribe to over 300 podcasts and each week I pick my favorite (one from each day), then compile a list based on which ones…
gave me an ah-ha moment,
kept me engaged the whole time,
or made me feel smarter after listening to them.
So without further ado, here’s a peek into the secret voices in my head!
