Naked November Day 2 :: Four Practices To Keep Me Sane As A Mother In The Morning
I recently read an article from SUCCESS magazine, “8 Tips For Being Authentic.”
Number 7: Open up and talk about things outside of your business.
Opening up… talking about things! These are all scary activities for most of us.
For some talking about our business is fear inducing- raising my hand here!
For others, sharing honestly about their life outside of the office makes them sweat profusely.
Today, I want to give you a tiny picture of who I am at home as a mother. (In a future post this month I’ll open up and share about the business stuff…eeekkk!)
Before I begin, you might be wondering what compels me to give you this snapshot of my life behind the four walls of my home?
Simply put, I wish more people would share what actually happens in their day-to-day lives because it HELPS!! I breathe easier, feel inspired to keep going, and am reminded to release my obsessive need to be perfect before I act on my dreams and step into the adventures I crave.
It’s out of this hope/need for more real life behind-the-scenes conversations that Naked November was born.
It’s my own 30-day vulnerability workout, where I’m stretching out my authenticity and firming up my honesty muscles.
Today, more specifically, my workout is sharing with you a glimpse into a few cringe-worthy parenting moments.
So here it goes…
Some nights I don’t even say good night to my own children.
