Why To Listen:
Today’s listens were impossible to pare down, so I picked these 3 because they combine to form a potent and beautiful blend of insight and inspiration that will stay with you long after you’ve listened.—You don’t want to miss Tracy Gee’s challenge to list out 100 desires and hear what she says about why women have an internal barrier preventing them from tapping into their desires (hint: patriarchy and religion).
—I also can not stop thinking about Mesha’s reference (on Mindset Check) to Pam Grout’s Ted Talk prompt to grab a cheap, spiral notebook and tap into our creative, playful soul by jotting down 3 ridiculous, delightful, suprising ideas every day!
—Jo and Nehu’s conversation around women’s evolving identities and how we, as a society, need a new narrative around power, work, and success. Nehu’s book, Power Pause, is on my list and just released today!
—Lastly, psychologist Ken Sheldon encourages us to live aligned with our deepest values,
“…the things that we think and are conscious of can be very influenced by outside forces and pressures as we discussed. So it takes quite a bit of time and work to figure out what you really want to do.”
Join me tomorrow for Welcome Wanderer - a cozy letter to your curious heart as we meander through this mysterious life!
