Why It Mattered To Me:
Heath Druzin, a journalist, has been covering extremism for years now and is particularly invested in Christian nationalism. Being steeped in Christianity for most of my life, and now on the other side of it, I’m fascinated by this conversation and others like it. Particularly with Trump as President, I’m curious (and nervous) to see how this “Christian industrial complex” will continue to flourish. Ugh.These Words Made Me Pause:
